CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Java, Golang opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 10 months Duties: Design, develop, and maintain Java applications utilizing web technologies. Build and optimize cloud-based microservices using Golang, Kafka, and Postgres. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web applications and microservices. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to improve overall code quality. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments in cloud environments. Stay current with the latest web technologies and provide recommendations for improvements. Skills: Proficiency in Java development, including frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, etc. Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular/React. Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and tools like Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with Golang and Kafka for developing scalable microservices. Solid understanding of Postgres and other relational databases. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Strong problem-solving abilities and debugging skills. Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Java Application Developer or in a similar role. Proven experience working with microservices, cloud platforms, and modern web development technologies. Previous experience with Golang, Kafka, and Postgres is highly preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
