CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – RDBMS position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 5 months Duties: Design, develop, test, and maintain database-driven applications across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms. Develop and optimize database code using PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 for LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows). Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient database solutions. Perform data modeling, schema design, and query optimization to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve database application issues and support ongoing enhancements. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and data governance requirements. Skills: Strong expertise in RDBMS concepts, SQL programming, and relational data modeling. Proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 application development for LUW. Experience working with databases on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments. Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and database security practices. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Application Developer with a strong focus on RDBMS-based solutions. Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise-scale database applications. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
