Application Development Advisor-Hybrid
The job profile for this position is Application Development Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc. **Responsibilities-** **· Serve as principal designer for major systems with moderate complexity and their subsystems;** **· Develop, document, test, implement, and provide on-going support for applications;** **· Drive and improve automation in areas of test case development, execution, and related processes;** **· Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to support delivery of product code;** **· Evaluate test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing;** **· Analyze and communicate test results, obstacles, issues, and risks effectively to identify practical solutions;** **· Perform defect tracking and participate in performance and scalability testing efforts;** **· Participate in organization-wide transition to Agile by working collaboratively within and across delivery teams to deliver on user stories, features, and epics;** **· Research and evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution;** **· Develop subject matter expertise and build knowledge of supported assets;** **· Assess and document business opportunities as well as benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications; and** **· Provide thought leadership within Application Development, as well as work on broader projects that require understanding of wider business.** **· Partial work from home benefit available.** **· The salary for this specific position is $139,443.00.** **· The deadline to apply is March 22, 2025.** **Qualifications-** **• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field;** **• 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, or a related occupation;** **• Experience working in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry or domain;** **• Experience developing application programs;** **• Experience collaborating in a highly matrix environment;** **• Experience with Agile software development methodology and SAFe Agile framework and principles;** **• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting;** **• Experience working in a matrixed organization; and** **• Experience with cloud computing (AWS), ReactJS, Python, Pega, and relational database (Oracle).** If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 101,400 - 169,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
