HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
You will join our talented Business Solutions Team. Our project is built on a multi-tier architecture including Service Oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications using Java and various other COTS products. You will be an empowered team member who deploys GDIT’s methodologies and best practices to work with members of assigned Company business units to elicit, organize, document and validate business rules, functional and non-functional requirementsYou will support the formulation of solutions for client business problems.You will determine and apply appropriate analysis skills in order to elicit, organize, document and validate business rules and functional/non-functional requirementsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Experience:
Three (3)+ years of experience in analysis and design on application development projects in a Business Analyst role preferably in a large-scale environmentOne (1)+ year of Healthcare, Medicaid, and/or Health Exchange Industry experiencePreferred Experience:
Affordable Care Act (ACA) experience in the areas of Eligibility and Enrollment experienceFederal and state compliance and regulations experience. New York State experience is a plus.Skills:
Demonstrated ability to moderate discussions enabling participants to articulate ideas on topics; recognize and manage various viewpoints; and gain consensus among various stakeholder groups.Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and concise documentationDemonstrated experience in developing use cases, managing requirements traceability, and a working knowledge of requirements management repository toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate abstract technical concepts to a varied audienceGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to effectively convey requirements, concerns and capabilities to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.Responsive, adaptive to complex changing environment.Resolve issues with little oversight; ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions.Prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines with minimal supervision and shift priorities as necessary.Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
