Application Development Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2025)

You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
 

Position Purpose: This intern will be part of the Amisys Provider Space Team to learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. This intern will collaborate closely with multiple internal stakeholders to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.

 

Duties include but not limited to: 

Analyze integrated and extensive datasets to extract value to help influence business decisionsWork collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify areas of value and develop solutionsGather business requirements, document and deliver insights 

 

Skills: 

Experience with .NET, C#, or any other object-oriented programming languageExperience with relational databases, including SQL server, OracleHave ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsDemonstrates a high level of accuracy under pressure and fast-paced environment

Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.

Pay Range: $20-26/hour
