These applications come from different industries like Customer Service (CRM), Financial Services, Healthcare, Comms & Media, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, etc. SWAT team comprises of talented engineers who focus on the Customer issues raised on the Pega enterprise applications. Also works on cross industry solutions to ensure the latest features of platform & industry compliance are incorporated within the product over the releases. Also extends support to build Pega enhancements to different strategic applications or components whenever needed.
You will be a part of team of in-house go-to experts assisting our support engineers in the field, providing technical consultation for Customer reported issues. You will spend your time debugging and troubleshooting Customer issues, hardening and patching critical existing defects and enhancing them where ever required. You will have exposure to building a smart solution to real-time problems from customers and scaling the solution to building key features that enhance the existing version of the product.
What You'll Do at Pega: Be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic fast-growing SME group supporting Global Customer Support team resolving customer issues raised on the enterprise applications.Serve as an escalation point to Customer Support cases, providing troubleshooting, support, and hotfixes to existing product versions, as required.Deliver successful releases incorporating and complying with latest features of Pega platform & industry.Manage the releases, patches and hotfixes for the issues raised by customers following the Pega defined process and policies.Collaborate with application development, Product management and Architect teams when ever necessary.Contribute to design and development of features enabling customers to differentiate themselves from competitors and driving them to stay ahead.Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and development.Work as part of a collaborative team with mindful of good software development patterns and practices surrounded by fun loving talented engineers.Who You Are:

Good experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of large-scale Java centric enterprise application systems.Strong experience in Pega PRPC & minimal basic of J2EE (JSP, Servlets) & good knowledge in Databases - Oracle and/or DB2 and MS/SQL) 2 to 4 years of Pega experience in analysis, design, development, and application deployment of Pega applications.Strong debugging skills with the usage of Tracer, Log analyzer, DB tracer, PAL, PLA, etc.Working experience in an agile/scrum team environment.Proficient with technology-based tools and processesExperience developing or working with Pega frameworks or CRM apps like Sales Customer Service [CRM] and Industry experience will be an added advantage.What You've Accomplished:•2-4 years of Pega development experience

•Prior experience with enterprise systems including CRM, Industry applications, ERP and their corresponding business domain knowledge
•Preferred experience developing integrations using APIs
•Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
•Solid understanding of, and practical experience with DevOps and Application Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
•Practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
•Practical knowledge of Application Software design patterns
•Have some exposure to project planning and effort estimation practices.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features.
•Experience with one or more of the following: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL
