We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a multi-faceted role as an Application Engineer focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This position has three distinct roles it will serve over the course of our ongoing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation. These roles include Data Conversion, Management Reporting, and Cutover responsibilities. As this is an enterprise-wide project you will work across multiple IT Teams as well is with an implementation partner to ensure a successful completion of this transformational venture.

 

In the Data Conversion Lead role you will focus on overseeing the successful migration of data from legacy systems to the Oracle ERP platform. This critical role ensures that data integrity, accuracy, and compliance are maintained throughout the transition. In the Management Reporting Lead role you will design, develop, and manage reporting solutions within Oracle ERP systems, ensuring business users have access to accurate, timely, and actionable insights. This role involves helping lead and support the reporting workstream during implementation, working closely with functional and technical teams to deliver robust reporting solutions tailored to our organizational needs. In the Cutover Lead role you will plan, manage, and execute the transition from legacy systems to the Oracle ERP platform during the go-live phase. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless and successful cutover with minimal disruption to business operations.

Responsibilities

Data Conversion Lead Responsibilities:

Overall owner of the end-to-end data migration/conversion process, tools, and strategyProvide input the data conversion strategy and manages the conversion plan, schedule, and milestones.Weekly review of conversion project plan activities, progress, priorities, and ownersAccurate reporting of overall data conversion status, progress, issues, and riskCo-host the data conversion scrum call with SI PartnerCoordinate and manage the data extraction process from legacy systems, data load file preparation, validation processes, and resolve any data issues or errors.Coordinate data cleansing activities.Ensures team alignment on the approach, objectives and timeline for each test cycle.Ensures team alignment to the data conversion execution processes and procedures (issue log, file handling, etc)Communicate and collaborate with the project stakeholders, such as the business users, the IT team, ensuring that the data migration objectives and requirements are met.Coordinate and manage to ensure Business and IT teams are troubleshooting, addressing any data issues or defects during conversion test cycles.Contribute to the cutover plan and manage the executions of data conversions tasks during cutover.Manage the data reconciliation process and sign-offs.Escalates to Workstream Leads on risks/issues that impact delivery, solution/design issues, scope/approach changes, resource management, conflict management

Management Reporting Lead Responsibilities:

Provides oversight across all reporting & analytics multiple workstreamsResponsible for overall reporting issue escalation and risk managementCoordinates with business representation to ensure reports address business needsWork with reporting team to manage work plans, milestones, and staffing requirementsMaintains a reporting inventory and ensures the program governance process is following for scope changes (adds/removals)Facilitate and gather analytical and management reporting requirements and collaborate with workstream leads and Business SMEs on report design.Oversee reporting developers and provide quality control on reports.Understanding the business requirements and objectives of the stakeholders and translating them into reporting solutions.Prepare and manage the development plan for management and analytical reporting scope.Coordinates with workstreams to define test scenarios and test scripts for analytical reportsLead the design and development of reports and dashboards using Analytics reporting tools BI/ PowerBi etc., ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of the reports and dashboards.Provide input to testing cycles and manage the defect triaging and fixes.Provide input to the weekly status meeting, prepares weekly status report on management and analytical reporting tasks progress, issues and risks. Escalate issues that may impact the go-live date or project milestones to the Project Leadership TeamProvides input to the cutover plan to ensure migration of all management and analytical reportsCoordinates with the Security team to ensure access is enabled for all business consumers of reportsMaster Data:Participates in design, technical specifications, development, testing, and defect support for data extraction to support data conversion activitiesProvides technical support during build activities

Cutover Lead Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility to manage, plan and executive deployment tasks by coordinating with various project team members and third-party stakeholders for production transition, as well as, overseeing cutover dress rehearsals.Provide input, review, and approve cutover strategy and approach.Coordinates across IT, platform and boundary app stakeholders to ensure the development of the cutover schedules and plans and to ensure they align to business cutover plans and meet objectives.Drive accountability for IT sections of the cutover plan development and execution (e.g. RICE code migration, data extracts, data migration, data reconciliation, boundary app configuration/changes, Middleware interface configurations/changes, technical infrastructure and connectivity, etc)Assign owners for the different sections of the cutover plan.Ensure all owners provide cutover content on time.Review and approve the cutover plan, dependencies, resources, durations (between all boundary systems, middleware, security & controls, access, etc.)Manage technical requests/tickets/approvals for migration of code.Coordinate batch job scheduling requests across applications.Coordinates the cutover readiness activities (cutover plan, cutover resources, execution schedule, central execution, dress rehearsal/production cutover kick-off) with the business and IT teams.Provide input into the entry and exit criteria and meetings.Support scheduling of dress rehearsal/production cutover execution planning and progress meeting and provides reports on cutover execution and defects.Drive accountability for cutover plan execution.Review cutover shits and line up required resources to execute cutover tasks.Manage execution issues, risks and escalations Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background. Experience with enterprise application configuration and implementation. Experience with integrations between applications and databases.Experience with software development or scripting languages preferred. Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Oracle ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite) and data conversion processes as well as reporting tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, Smart View, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)Proficiency in data migration tools and technologies, such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or similar ETL toolsStrong understanding of ERP modules and business processesFamiliarity with data governance, compliance, and regulatory standardsExperience managing ERP cutover activities, preferably in Oracle Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite environmentsUnderstanding of ERP implementation methodologies and lifecycle phasesFamiliarity with system integration, data migration, and infrastructure requirements
