Summary:
The Tech Sales Engineer is responsible and accountable for providing technical expertise and product knowledge support to the ITW Pro Brands R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams. Enable the sales process/team through understanding, training, and defining solutions for customer needs and problems. Supports the ITW Pro Brands distribution partner network through product knowledge, safety, and training. This role will collaborate effectively with other functional areas to support the division strategy.
The position will be based in Tucker, Georgia.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring all technical needs of the sales team, end users, and distributors are met in the assigned segment.

Work through the field sales team, marketing, and R&D to obtain competitive product samples, information/literature on competitive products, as well as knowledge surrounding competitive application/value propositions, etc.Assist the marketing team with necessary support for new product launches, product promotions, video content, etc.Support Marketing team with Strengths, weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis.Execute any ad-hoc or newly introduced projects, plans, campaigns, or initiatives the commercial management team deems necessary to implement. Comply with timelines for all Workday activities, required training, and any additional necessary requirements such as Dayforce vacation tracking.Assists the R&D NPD process.Perform other assignments to meet company objectives, i.e., VOC interviews, technical presentations, etc.Field and vet calls and emails from customer leads (distributor and end user) and log information in our CRM (SFDC).Provide and manage reports to demonstrate progress in goal achievement through CRM system (SFDC).Travel >30% for business needs. International travel may be required.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
BS in Business Management or related area Minimum 5+ years Manufacturing purchasing/planning experience. Supply Chain certifications a plus.Working knowledge of ERP software.Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management Principles.Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.Strong user of Microsoft Office Excel (pivot tables, filters, and reference formulas as a minimum)Medium negotiation skillsOther Competencies:
