As an Application Engineer in HIAB UK, you will be responsible to support the HIAB and MULTIFT business lines.

 

This role will be based in Ellesmere, UK.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities 3D Modelling  Finite Element Analysis (FEA)  T/win drawings  Engineering/ Component drawings  Works instructions Technical trouble shooting  Conduct sales enquiries and customer visits  Bodybuilder/ Supplier liaison  Dealer Support  Pricing and cost controller  Standards Compliance Advisor  Hiab tools (sales). Hi-Select, CPQ, C-Sales, CRM, HiTil support and training if required. What you’ll need to succeed Be qualified to HNC or degree level in Mechanical Engineering  Should have a minimum of 3years’ experience in a Commercial Vehicle Application  Technical/ Hydraulic/ Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred  Lorry loader/ Crane/ HGV background – preferred not essential  Have good technical knowledge  Possess good I.T. skills, including MS Office and the SAP ERP System  Knowledge of Solid works or AutoCAD design suits  Have excellent written and verbal communication skills  Innovation  Continuously improve current processes and ways of working in the organization  Be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders  Be self-motivated, capable of working under pressure, and able to operate with minimal supervision  Be a team player, flexible with regards to tasks performed.  You will be part of
