Job Title: Application Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team. You will assist in refining the design and function of existing products and tools, support engineering activities for product roll-outs and production ramps, and support engineering products through their entire life cycle.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in refining the design and function of existing products and tools.Support engineering activities for product roll-outs and production ramps.Support engineering products through their entire life cycle.Custom calibrate motorized wall mounts before shipping.Assist with specification development.Assist in developing and executing product testing plans to validate engineering designs.Compile test data collected during design validations, and assist in its presentation.Assist with engineering-based cost savings initiatives.Assist Production team to resolve manufacturing or assembly problems that arise.Design and engineer custom quotations (as needed) to meet customer specifications and requirements.Maintain expert level of product knowledge and understand differences in the company's products versus competitor's offerings.Serve as liaison between the Engineering Department, Production team, and the Support team.Organize, manage, and maintain Onshape 3D, 2D, and fabrication drawing files.Contribute to documentation for use in manufacturing, installation, technical support, and training.Perform technical/product trainings.Enhance corporate image by participating in trade shows and exhibits.Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD software.Experience with product design.Experience with product testing and validation.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Mechanical Engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing or product design.Minimum of 2 years of experience with Solidworks or Onshape.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $36.06/hr.
