Flowserve is looking for technically and commercially experienced Application Engineers as well as On-Site Application Engineers. In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments.

Commercial Operations (ComOps) Pump Application Engineer – This team handles order acquisition processes, dealing with internal and external requests ranging from hydraulic, mechanical, and materials upgrades to pump repairs. Sitting in our pump service center in Pasadena, Texas, this group works with several different design teams across the globe to work upgrades for various pump product lines. This group also includes engineers for the Integrated Solutions Operations (ISO) group, which handles services such as system assessments and condition monitoring products.
Commercial Operations (ComOps) Seal Application Engineer – This team handles order acquisition processes, dealing with internal and external requests ranging from new mechanical seals to seal system proposals. Sitting in our pump service center in Pasadena, Texas or Corpus Christi, Texas, this group works with several different design teams across the globe to work upgrades for various seal product lines. This team also does hands-on work such a seal failure analysis (SFAs) to determine why a mechanical seal failed in the field.
Commercial Operations (Comm Ops) Application Engineering – This team works with customers all over the world who are requesting quotes for new equipment installations. Typical projects could be a local plant expanding a small unit to increase capacity or a customer building a new plant on the other side of the world. This group works with the customer and Engineering Procurement Contractors (EPCs) to specify the appropriate equipment for the service and prepare a commercially viable and technically sound solution for our customers. *Co-op/Intern Opportunities Available
End-User, On-site Application Engineering – This group reports out of our Quick Response Center (QRC) and works with customers directly in order to troubleshoot problems with equipment in the field. Often this requires prompt identification of problems and utilization of Flowserve technology to derive solutions. They also work on multiple-levels within the customers’ organization to solve repetitive equipment issues and implement recommended solutions to increase reliability. *Co-op/Intern Opportunities Available
