Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Application Production Consultant – French Fluent to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Ensure the proper functioning of the platform, its maintainability, and scalability:
• Respond to incidents and ad hoc requests for changes from the business by ensuring the required development phases (configuration, unit tests).
• Manage version upgrades within its application scope (middleware, base, etc.).
• Ensure application SLA objectives (e.g., availability time, incident processing time).
• Update documentation.
• Provide quality user support to the business.
• Adhere to and implement applicable standards: engineering rules, safety standards.

Propose optimizations and efficiency gains:
• Propose and, where appropriate, carry out task automation actions.
• Identify and implement areas for improving the run management process.

Apply obsolescence management plan guidelines:
• Participate in planning for application version upgrades.

Organize and synthesize communications to different stakeholders:
• Assist in creating reporting documents linked to the application scope.
• Alert higher management if deadlines are exceeded.
• Summarize and organize your activities with the Manager.

Participate in platform evolutions and business projects:
• Analyze the need and design the flows.
• Organize and schedule deliveries/tests.
• Follow the various stages of the project through the committees and tracking media.
• Ensure compliance with quality, deadlines, and costs when participating in business projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5 years experience
• Knowledge of system architecture
• Knowledge of SQL, Shell, OS
• Risk Identification and monitoring
• Coordination of stakeholders
• Analysis, logic and critical thinking for design and support incident management
• Ability to synthesize
• Planned initiative and pedagogy
• Ability to plan and prioritize work
• Rigor and responsiveness
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• French (B2 / C1)
