Primary Focus

This initiative was established to drive cost savings through the consolidation of state IT assets and resources. It integrates a diverse range of hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party software, and custom applications. Additionally, it plays a key role in leading the state's technology procurement process, standardizing technology across the organization, and improving operational efficiency, maintenance, and scalability of new solutions that can be extended to all relevant agencies.

Responsibilities Develop understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to make informed decisions and drive results.Define program goals and objectives and align them with the organization's strategy.Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget.Manage risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies as needed.Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management.Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met.Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards.Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices.Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes.Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide application support for agency’s workload demandsThe Program Manager or Specialist should be familiar with environmental quality permitting, licenses and registration processes.Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

10 Years work experience in Management10 Years work experience in Program/ Project Management5 Years work expertise in Business analytics, Strategic PlanningBachelor’s Degree – Any FieldMust be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment

 

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree – Any Field

 

Minimum Skills:

Must possess problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgencyProficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one timeAbility to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in natureMust be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team
