We are looking for a QA Lead with expertise in Functional and Automation testing with around 12-16 years of experience to work exclusively on Financial Services domain. Person in this position will collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you will be responsible for

As a QA Lead you will

Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies for software applications.Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts.Perform Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool.Oversee test automation efforts and implementation.Lead the implementation and execution of automated testing frameworks, with different automation tools .Knowledge on handling performance testing.Expertise in executing test scripts via automation tools.Taking responsibility of the QA deliverables.Oversees the day to day activities of one or more project teamsPrepares project report and ensures metrics are kept up to date.Reviews daily processes and suggests improvements as requiredTo coordinate with all stakeholders in the program – Dev/Business/PM teams.Works closely with other test teams, development teams, project managers, analysts, and deployment and support personnel to support project and department goalsAct as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and support.Replicating the production defects in lower environments.

Core/Must have skills

Capital Markets domain experience

Functional and Application Testing experience

Strong knowledge in SQL.

Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.

Strong Practical experience in using Test Management Tools

Defect Tracking Tools like RTC, Jira

Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)

Capability of Executing Test Cases via Automation Tools

Expertise in building Automation frameworks.

Good to have skills

Knowledge on UFT and Selenium automation tools.

Scripting languages like VB scripting, Java Scripting

Programming language: Java , Python.
