Job Description

In this position you will oversee the successful execution of Medium Voltage orders through Order Entry to Shipment with a focus on ensuring the quality of the Medium Voltage (MV) orders.

You will create and modify electrical drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) for orders varying in complexity related to the Medium Voltage (2400V – 15kV) Motor Control Center and Variable Frequency Drives.

Previous knowledge with MV products will be an asset along with previous experience in quality engineering and developing electrical system solutions.

You will collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure customers success. You will oversee the MV ETO order engineering process and perform analysis to develop necessary process improvements and then ensure compliance.

This role reports to the Engineering Team Leader and is located in Cambridge, ON, Canada.

Your Responsibilities:Create and modify electrical/mechanical drawings and BOM to meet custom modifications.Investigate and resolve engineering issues that affect engineering quality.Oversee MV engineering tools and entire order engineering process to ensure quality engineering design.Audit established MV order engineering processes to ensure compliance.Perform analysis and identify trends on MV order engineering process to develop quality assurance protocols/methods to improve engineering quality.Work closely with engineering team members, production, and other functional teams to ensure MV order engineering deliverables meet stakeholder requirements.Evaluate and analyze the efforts in organizing and documenting the final engineering design documents and records.
