Summary
The Application(s) Project Manager provides additional coordination and communication, overseeing implementation and maintenance for assigned applications, application areas, or specialized teams.
Professional Responsibilities:
+ Maintaining scope, schedule, and quality in their specific application area or team.
+ Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of a given project.
+ Working closely with the project director and other project managers to coordinate activities.
+ Ensuring that non-Epic stakeholders are engaged in the project.
+ Advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on issues, key success factors, and lessons learned.
+ Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities.
+ Reinforcing the importance of department initiatives and together with executives and the project director, provide consistent communication to the team.
+ Organizing resources within the organization.
+ Motivating and showing appreciation for the team.
+ Appropriately matching team member skills to team responsibilities.
+ Managing from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks.
+ Assisting as a support contact for their area Identifying and troubleshooting issues.
+ Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic (Wisconsin) software.
+ Serving as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic (Wisconsin) staff.
+ Maintaining regular communication with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives.
+ Working with Epic (Wisconsin) representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs including deliverables and timelines.
+ Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows.
+ Participating in training and working with end users.
+ Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
+ Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
+ Owning integrated efforts that span multiple applications such as BCA, Cutover, HODs, etc.

Education and Experience:
+ Degree/certification in operational or clinical area of origin.
+ Prior project management experience, preferred.
+ Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.
