Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Security Specialist in Grapevine, TX. Overview: We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Application Security Specialist to join our security team and work closely with development teams. In this role, you will bridge the gap between security and development by advocating for the security program within the development organization, communicating risks, and helping them incorporate security practices into their development processes. While prior security experience is a plus, we are more focused on your mindset and willingness to learn, especially if you have a background in development and want to transition into application security. The role will also focus on cloud security, particularly Azure, so a solid understanding of cloud-based application development will be beneficial.
