We are looking for an Application Specialist Automation for our site in Ecublens/Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities:

SMS Demonstration & Analyses of prospect samples

Participate in interviews, demonstrations of Automation Systems, organization, and follow-upManage technical expectations of customers, support technical discussionsAbility to operate our Automation System to produce results from samples submitted by prospects and edit the subsequent reportsProactively initiate, drive, generate collaborations with key customers on new applicationsBehave as the ambassador of BEA with these key customers and use outcomes for growing BEA reputation

Sales

Help sales team define the best technical solution that makes our proposal more attractive vs competitorPrepare and process Non-Standard Requests with the help of automation specialistsCollaborate with PM in creating, maintaining/reviewing, and updating Automation System related sales material (brochures, PowerPoint presentation, price list, web pages)Support for Automation System presentations in commercial meetingsTraining of new Sales reps and dealers (in absence of PM)

Technical Responsibilities

Analyze customer specificationsCreation of system layouts corresponding to customer request (Prospects / sales support)Compatibility check with old systems for SMS UpgradesSMS system demonstration

Your Qualifications:

ETS/HES or EPF engineering degree in mechanics or equivalent5+ years of experience in mechanical designGood knowledge of PDM softwareA previous experience in automation systems would be a strong assetExperience using Solidworks CAD softwareTeam player, technical leadership, autonomousProficient in French and English
