Application Success Lead
Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is on the hunt for an energetic and innovative Design Technology Application Lead to join our Infrastructure Division and drive the future of design technology! This Design Technology Application Lead will work a hybrid schedule, based in one of the following FL office locations: Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Meyers, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando or Tampa. This position is focused on Bentley OpenRoads Designer and other Bentley applications, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our design technology strategies, streamlining workflows, and delivering impactful training and support to our infrastructure teams. This role will report to the Application Success Manager, you’ll work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless alignment with design technology standards, best practices, and business goals. While Bentley tools are the primary focus, experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and related Autodesk infrastructure tools will set you apart, as many of our clients use both platforms. Responsibilities + Serve as the subject matter expert for Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, and OpenBridge Modeler, with additional support for Autodesk Civil 3D as needed. + Provide administration, training, and technical support for both Bentley and Autodesk civil infrastructure design software suites. + Develop and implement company-wide standards, workflows, and best practices for infrastructure design tools. + Optimize and manage the Corporate CADD environment, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency within project workflows. + Regularly meet with project teams and infrastructure leadership to assess pain points, identify process improvements, and align technology with business needs. + Provide user training and on-boarding for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to succeed with both Bentley and Autodesk infrastructure products. + Troubleshoot software issues, provide timely resolutions, and document solutions for knowledge-sharing. + Research, test, and evaluate emerging visualization and infrastructure modeling technologies, including LiDAR processing, automation tools, and digital twins. + Maintain and support tools, add-ins, plug-ins, and updates for all firm-wide Bentley and Autodesk digital infrastructure solutions. + Ensure high-profile project deliverables maintain a high level of quality and adhere to firmwide visualization and modeling standards. + Serve as the main point of contact for Bentley and Autodesk software vendors, providing input on future software/hardware investments and licensing compliance. + Assist with budget planning and strategic decision-making for design technology investments. + Willingness to travel up to 10% to company offices across the U.S. Qualifications + 5+ years of experience working with Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, and/or Autodesk Civil 3D in a production or support role. + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Strong experience with 3D civil design workflows and Bentley Workspaces. + Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
