Application Support Analyst

Job Grade/Level – C05

\n

Responsibilities:

\n\n Support the Timekeeping solutions that runs on Windows OS and SQL databases.\n Assist users in resolving issues. \n Participate in performance monitoring and optimization.\n Communicate effectively with team members and customers through strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.\n Remain flexible to changes in priorities with the ability to multi-task.\n Involves working in 24/7 rotational shift (should be willing to work in night shift).\n\n

Technical skillset:

\n\n Experience in at least 2 industry standard ticketing tool\n Minimum of 2– 4 years progressively responsible experience, demonstrating in-depth working knowledge with a broad range of Applications as Support personnel and with customer service experience\n Experience in Incident Management and Problem Management\n Experience in MS SQL database fundamentals, writing SQL queries.\n Knowledge on Windows 2008, 2012R2 and 2016 Servers.\n Knowledge on File Transmission Protocols (SFTP, FTP) and networking concepts\n High energy, ability to multi-task, prioritize conflicting demands.\n Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.\n Knowledge on MS Office Applications (WORD, EXCEL, VISIO, MS Project)\n Good Production Control literacy\n Strong demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills. \n Have good understanding in infrastructure technologies like (Windows Servers, Middle-ware, and, Networking, etc.) \n Knowledge on IIS is an added advantage.\n\n

Key skills: Application support. Web Application, IIS, SQL, Trouble shoot, Rotational Shift, operating experience in basics of Windows operating systems

Qualifications:

\n\n A University or college degree in a relevant discipline.\n 2+ years’ experience in Application Support \n\n
