Job Description Insight Global is searching for an Application Support Engineer to join a large oil and gas company in OKC. You will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of various geoscience and drilling applications, including Geographix, Kingdom, Interactive Petrophysics (IP), and Drilling Schedule Optimizer (DSO). This role involves system analysis, troubleshooting, application maintenance, and user support to ensure seamless business operations. The candidate will also manage support requests using Remedyforce and follow established IT change management processes. You will be responsible for partnering and communicating effectively with the business. This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation and continuous improvement of the exploration and DSO applications. You will be required to support IT change management processes by assessing and implementing application updates, patches, and system modifications. You will act as the point of contact for these applications as it relates to troubleshooting application issues, application performance, process improvements, ensuring compliance, provide user trainings and implement best practices. Compensation: $72-75/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
