Our financial services client is looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of a new cloud-based brokerage platform’s Production Support team. The Principal Application Support Engineer will be responsible for on call production support of Brokerage applications on the cloud. This role will support a startup investing app. As a member of the team, you will work with teams with a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to devise measurement strategy and deliver insights from diverse data sets _Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2 **Experience Requirements:** + Extensive experience in Brokerage application development and support with strong proven understanding of languages like Java/Spring MVC, Node JS, GO + Experience in microservices architecture & development for cloud + Extensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, solving application issues in a EKS infrastructure + Extensive experience with setting up Application alerting and monitoring in a cloud environment + Experience handling On-call production support and debugging application issues + Brokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plus + Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support new technologies on the cloud + Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills + Ability to effectively multi-task and manage your time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred + MSCE or A+ certification is required, with MSCE preferred + AWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps) _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
