Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Specialist with a keen eye for Technology and support application requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business.
Application Support jobs seek candidates with both business skills and technical IT knowledge, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.
- Understand and support Business and Technical requirements
- Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
- Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
- Assisting with systems integrations
- Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Managing coordination at Global level where required
- Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
- Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
- Developing reports for teams across the business
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimization
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
- Identifying and Evaluate Technology Solutions
- Problem Solve and Troubleshoot
- Identify Potential Issues
- Work with Cross-Functional Teams
- Provided 2nd level application support to Corporate/Divisional end users via telephone, email and office visits
- Coordinate, develop and maintain Application Support standards and procedures and other documentation as required
- Proficient in written and verbal communication with Business and Technical Teams.

- Working knowledge on Windows Servers, SQL Databases & basic network configuration

- Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Listening ability and patience
- Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
- Practical SharePoint Online product experience - configuring, administration, development and deploying solutions
