Application Support Senior (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Our Impact:

We support, monitor, and improve data intense software applications required for supporting Enterprise Third Party Risk Management and Finance domains.

Your Impact:

You will have significant impact on conceptual development, implementation, and continuous improvement of next gen application support processes within the Single-Family Underwriting Application Support Team.  You will guide and be responsible for the team through incident detection and resolution, defect recognition and management, support of partner team distribution of software, and world-class user experience troubleshooting.  You will provide leadership through team skills evaluation and coaching, assessment of new technologies with quick proof of concepts, and strong communication and teamwork across multiple partner teams all with a “One Team” attitude.

Additional Responsibilities include the following.

Apply broad technical knowledge, judgment and analytical skills to analyze, develop and implement solutions for application support process improvements, troubleshooting, production operations and configuration management.

Build practices, automated capabilities and communication across department for enhanced application and operational controls compliance including awareness, daily practice integration, evidence collection, successful completion, complexity reduction and resource utilization. 

Provide guidance during production incidents articulating clear steps towards resolution

Quickly evaluate defects, investigate causes, and push towards solutioning

Capture, update and simplify production support resolution activities, production operations tools & capabilities, and configuration management sustainability & applicability.

Understand business and establish strong partnership with team members including Product Owners

Apply expertise in models that demonstrate the newest data sources, technologies, and tools

Quickly learn new and legacy technologies and paradigms to deploy innovative and automated solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience

5+ Years of experience in IT industry

Experience or knowledge of Java/J2EE, Appian, ETL tools, relational databases, UNIX, Data Engineering solutions using AWS, Python, Dev Ops and CI/CD tools

Experience with application support tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana.

Ability to lead and provide technical direction to a team

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $107,000 - $161,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
