Application Support Specialist
Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support Specialist with hands-on experience supporting Salesforce to join our growing IT team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our Salesforce platform by serving as the primary point of contact for user support, issue resolution, and functional guidance. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, administrators, and developers to troubleshoot issues, improve user experience, and contribute to system enhancements that drive operational success. Key Responsibilities: + Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Salesforce users across departments, resolving issues related to access, functionality, data integrity, and performance + Troubleshoot and resolve user inquiries through Salesforce Service Cloud or internal ticketing systems + Collaborate with Salesforce Admins and Developers to escalate and resolve system bugs, configuration issues, and workflow errors + Maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and other security settings + Assist with data imports, exports, deduplication, and validation efforts + Document solutions, FAQs, and best practices in a centralized knowledge base + Support testing and deployment of Salesforce updates, enhancements, and integrations + Train new users and provide ongoing guidance on Salesforce best practices Requirements Qualifications: + 3+ years of experience in application support, helpdesk, or business systems support role + 1+ years of hands-on experience supporting Salesforce (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or similar) + Strong understanding of Salesforce user interface and features such as reports, dashboards, workflows, validation rules, and automation + Basic knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce setup/configuration + Familiarity with tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and Salesforce Inspector + Excellent communication and customer service skills + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) preferred Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): + Experience supporting integrated platforms such as Outlook, DocuSign, or other SaaS tools + Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience + Familiarity with Agile methodology and ticket tracking tools like Jira or ServiceNow + Basic understanding of REST APIs and data flow within Salesforce What We Offer: + Competitive salary and performance bonuses + Full benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match + Generous PTO and holiday schedule + Opportunities for Salesforce certification support and career advancement + Collaborative and innovative team environment + Remote flexibility (if applicable) Apply Today: If you're passionate about user support and excited by the opportunity to work with Salesforce in a dynamic, growing environment, we want to hear from you!
