Provide technical support and service, including but not limited to calibration, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of semiconductor equipment at customer sites located throughout the world.  Provide customer training and remote support to customers and other field service representatives as needed. Extensive travel will be required.

Responsibilities Perform factory and onsite installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of semiconductor equipment at customer sites throughout the worldProvide remote technical support to other field service representativesInterface with customers with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Provide cross training to other field service representativesWrite and/or modify technical procedures and other related documentation as requiredManage down equipment events with a strong sense of ownership from initial notification to closure – fostering a mutually agreed root cause identification and correctionProvide first level applications support to the customerManage spare parts inventory and ensure proper paperwork on parts consumedDocument failures through failure analysis and corrective action systemsRegularly interface with manufacturing, engineering, and applications groupsProvide emergency onsite field service during critical system down eventsPerform other duties as requested Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

At least 5 years’ experience in similar positionSignificant experience in electronics and with high voltage electrical equipmentAt least 2 year’s experience working with laserselectrical, electronics, pneumatic, computer/software, mechanical, robotics related skills

 

Suggested Minimum Requirements for the position:
