The incumbent is responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop and modify moderately complex information systems. The individual supports a variety of departmental clinical applications as well as interfacing between a broad spectrum of hospital systems. This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities Participates in meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.Performs system build and testing for software lifecycle activities. Ensures quality outcomes and assesses integrated impact.Resolves incidents and work orders work according to agreed upon SLA's and assigned timelines. Completes project tasks on time with quality outcomes.Maintains and creates documentation as needed. Acts as a resource to end users and team members with regard to application utilization in context with workflow.Performs the execution and update of test scripts, including unit, application and integrated test scripts.Works with training staff and the instructional designer to guide the build and implementation of training tips and lesson plans to support features and optimization of the system.Researches and analyzes new feature requests. Completes system build and testing as defined. Participates in stakeholder review, implementation documentation and communication planning.Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesExcellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under high stress conditions in a changing environment.Flexibility in accepting assignments, including on call and overtime activities.Organizational and analytical skills, ability to prioritize.Strong technical management and technical problem resolution skills.Demonstrated ability to perform application build and testing for assigned applications. Qualifications QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Clinical Discipline or equivalency. Qualifications (Preferred) PreferredExperience or certification using or working with Epic or another electronic healthcare system.Experience or certification using or working with Epic Bridges.Experience or certification using or working with Epic's Caché Database.Working Conditions and Physical Demands
