Application Systems Senior Analyst

Join us, and experience a career well lived. **Application Systems Senior Analyst** Do you have experience in Applications Systems and want to work for a company that positively impacts the lives of the individuals it serves? In the AS Senior Analyst role, you will be the product owner for some of the most highly visible applications. This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US. **_Responsibilities:_** + Install, upgrade, tune, and troubleshoot complex applications, running on Linux or Windows with Cache, MySQL, or SQL Server databases + Lead weekly meetings across multiple departments to ensure applications are running as expected and business users’ expectations are being met; consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives + Lead the identification, diagnoses, and resolution of system and end-user problems to ensure adequate performance, scalability, and capacity + Closely monitor trouble tickets to fix issues and work with developers to recommend long-term fixes + Respond to service desk assignments, track problems/issues, and promptly follow up with customers + Configure monitoring tools to measure server activity + Support internally developed applications by addressing defects and coding and testing enhancements to existing systems; develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs; automate manual processes + Document system architecture to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; review documentation and makes revisions as necessary + Create and modify ETL processes to move large amounts of data using appropriate application tools; reverse engineer complex data models on high transaction databases to extract data or troubleshoot data anomalies + Work with vendors to ensure Service level agreements are being met + Adhere to corporate system development life cycle, corporate style standards, governance, and related policies; ensure compliance change control policies are met; assist with HIPAA audits + Stay current with trends in the technology industry; embrace continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve systems through new technology Train and oversee the work of less experienced staff as needed **_Qualifications:_** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field + 5-7 years of experience as a product owner in a large enterprise infrastructure environment + Expertise in Linux with IPTables and basic commands; shell scripting; high transaction databases + Experience with project/issue tracking and collaboration software + Experience with web server platforms + Familiarity with high transaction relational databases **_Why Join Us?_** + Full compensation/benefits package for employees working over 30 hours/week + 401(k) with company match + Paid time off and holiday pay + Enjoy complex work that makes a difference in the lives of those we serve + Career development and advancement opportunities across a nationwide network **Come join our amazing team of committed, caring professionals.** **_Apply Today!_** Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
