If you’re hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there’s only one choice.** **Application Technology Intern** **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of this role are to: + Establish project, develop and plan and key milestones; + Build network within regional collaborative teams and the wider Field Solutions function to accomplish project goals; + Collaboratively design and carry out laboratory or field based experiments; + Responsible for organizing, documenting, and reporting research outcomes in a timely manner; + Actively troubleshoot and problem-solve to optimize research procedures; + Analyze data to draw conclusions and define next steps; + Understand and follow protocols when working with various pesticides and instrumentation; + Present project results to leadership team and stakeholder group. **WHO YOU ARE** Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: + Currently enrolled at an accredited university located in the U.S. pursuing a BS or Masters in crop science, weed science, chemistry, biology, agronomy, engineering or a related field; + Successfully completed at least sophomore year or higher; + Knowledge or understanding of basic chemistry, biology, and/or agronomy principles; + Ability to work safely in the laboratory or field environment; + Strong interest in experimentation and ability to think critically about results and drive future research; + Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams; + Excellent organizational skills and scientific report writing experience knowledge and understanding of basic data science practices. **YOUR APPLICATION** Bayer offers a wide variety of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
