The position of Application Testing Specialist involves leading and managing testing activities across projects. You will design test strategies, coordinate testing efforts, and mentor junior testers. Your responsibilities include analyzing requirements, developing test plans, and overseeing the execution of test cases. You will collaborate with stakeholders to validate software functionality and ensure adherence to quality standards. This role requires advanced knowledge of testing methodologies, automation tools, and continuous improvement practices.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of applications.Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve issues.Implement and maintain automated test scripts.Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.Ensure testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. QualificationsRequired
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in application testing using skills specified in the document.Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred
Federal Consulting Industry Experience PreferredRelevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are beneficial.#LI-Remote
