**Overview** St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking anApplication Analystto join our Patience Access team. Under minimal supervision, the Application Analyst analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devices to process data. **Duties/Responsibilities:** + Analyzes andmodifiesdata systems. + Resolves system related problems throughappropriate researchmethods and communication with user department personnel and vendor personnel. + Analyzes reports in relation to system capabilities + Prepares charts and diagrams toassistin problem analysis andsubmitsrecommendations for solution. + Prepares detailed program specifications and requirements,identifiesrequired inputs,participatesin the design, development, and testing of systems. + Follows department proceduresrelativeto request tracking, documentation and change control. + Oversees and implements sound system or device testing strategies; oversees the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications. + Handles complex issues andproblems, andrefers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. + Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. + Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or first-level supervisor. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.   **Minimum Qualifications:** + Education:Bachelorsdegree or experience in lieu of degree + Experience:0years relevant experience + Licenses/Certifications: None **Preferred** **Qualifications:** + Familiarity with Epic’s EHR + Experience in professional billing, coding, charge capture, Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), and/or patient financial experience + Demonstrated skill in workflow/process design and troubleshooting technology **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
