We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team and help us develop and maintain publishing tools. All tools and applications are windows based. We provide all tools and support for our team of 100+ writers, including:

 

•             Develop tools for publishing XML into HTML and PDF content.

•             Create Windows applications to streamline processes and workflow for our team of writers.

•             Develop custom functionality for Oxygen XML Author.

 

We manage all projects from conception to implementation, including design, needs analysis, user experience and support and documentation.

 

As a member of our team, you will take an active role in the support of existing tools and applications whilst developing new features and solutions for our documentation team.

Required

Experience with programming in Python  Experience with unit testing and debugging  Experience with Python GUI Frameworks Python 3.6+  Good communication skills in English  The ability to learn new skills quickly  BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

 

Preferred

Perl experience is a plus  JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XSLT and XML are a plus  Familiar with Electron Knowledge of version control systems - preferably Perforce. Familiar with Agile and Scrum Framework
