This position is for the team working on brand new Public sector cloud applications. As a member of this team you would be working on cutting edge cloud technologies, and are expected to analyze, design, code, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications.

We leverage an agile development methodology (scrum) to facilitate the development of our products. Our development practices include empowered scrum teams, continuous build and integration, weekly sprint reviews, and a heavy emphasis on testing early and often.

You should be able to work independently, mentor others and be a highly contributing member of an agile team. She/he has excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, with a successful track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer with a passion for developing our Public sector cloud  solution.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do
    • Design and architect innovative solutions based on customer requirements, translating high-level objectives into actionable, scalable architectures.
    • Lead hands-on initiatives throughout the solution lifecycle—requirements gathering, design, prototype development, and testing.
    • Design, Development and implementation of projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product Architects, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other development teams.
    • Developing frameworks using Core Java & J2EE technologies including REST based web services. 
    • UI development of the application using VBCS, JET, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, knockout, AJAX, Selenium etc.
    • Participating in code reviews
    • Engaging actively in developing technical designs
    • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies (including Oracle technologies) and assimilating them into the product suites
    • Ensuring compliance with development methodology and technical process
    • Stay at the forefront of technology trends, adopting and applying new internal tools and solutions to address business challenges.

What You Need to Succeed
    • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of at least one major Cloud Service Provider (OCI,AWS, GCP, Azure).
    • Experience with Cloud Solutions: Proven experience designing, developing, administering, and testing highly available cloud solutions (e.g., OIC, OPA, Generative AI, Assistant AI services).
    • Customer Engagement: Demonstrated experience leading customer-facing engagements, cloud deployments, and technical demonstrations.
    • Programming & Scripting: Proficient in scripting or programming (e.g., java script, typescript, Python) for automation and custom solutions.
    • Creating Business Impact: Ability to craft high-value, reusable assets (workshops, tutorials, etc.) that support customer learning and adoption.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations and whiteboarding sessions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and cloud-based AI services.
    • Familiarity with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
    • Solid understanding of highly-available, scalable systems and solutions.
    • Exposure to large-scale, distributed systems, and multi-threaded architectures.
    • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in relevant tech communities.
    • Experience thriving in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.
    • Cloud certifications (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) and AI-specific certifications are a plus.
