Overview

The Application Developer will be responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software, support existing business systems applications, as well as consulting with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions for our customers. This opportunity is supporting the Interactive Intelligence Practice at C1 which is a fast paced, high energy and high growth business segment that is looking for people who are not afraid to get involved in the technical details of projects. The position requires the design, coding, engineering, documentation and testing of software projects.  Duties will include development in many of the follow technologies:  C#, MVC, WCF and WebAPI Services.

Responsibilities Participates in requirements gathering sessions with customersWorks with Business System Analysts, Testers, and Product Owners to create and refine storiesCreates technical documentation including scopes of work, functional requirements, and other Design and Support documentationCodes projects using existing code standards and conventionsProvides input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stabilityTracks issues and resolutions in relation to the development effortCommunicates and documents project statuses to managementUnderstands Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologiesEnsures that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of client systems is in accordance with client policies and procedures Writes and maintains Unit Tests and assist with the creation and maintenance of automated testing

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing enterprise level applications and integrationsIn-depth knowledge MS .Net Framework 3.5 and aboveKnowledge of software design principles and patternsAdvanced technical writing skills requiredAdditional experience should include Windows desktop and server application development (such as Excel, Visio, SQL Server, and IIS)Knowledge of MVC development Solid interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate clearly in written and verbal formExceptional problem solving abilitiesKnowledge of web technologies (HTML, Javascript, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON, etc.)

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications
