Applications Developer Senior- remote
**Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a Applications Developer Senior for a Full Time, 0.80 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $40.22 – $60.34. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Designs, implements and maintains data collection, integration and storage tools. Develops new applications not provided by software vendors, customization of vendor-supplied systems and development to further integrate a mix of vendor-supplied and internally developed applications and databases. Develops and supports complex projects, including projects with the highest impact and/or visibility across PeaceHealth. Serves as mentor to other developers on the team. *Must currently reside in WA, OR, AK, TX, or willing to relocate by date of hire. **Ideal candidate will have development experience with INFOR Process automation or configuration console. Details of the Position: + Proposes new development standards as needed, with implementation plans for new standards. + Trains and mentors other developers within the work team. + Serves as a participant and/or consultant to projects with highest complexity, impact, and visibility. + Designs, tests, installs and upgrades production relational databases and accompanying applications. + Develops and maintains logical and physical entity/relationship data models and implement model schemas within standard database technologies. Plans and conducts structured testing of database designs to confirm functionality and performance. + Conducts analysis of application environments, documents requirements, and defines technical architecture. Develops customizations and tailoring of applications and databases, knowledgeably coordinates details across a variety of teams. May serve as an application consultant in defining systems to achieve objectives for technical and application support. + Plans and conducts periodic application performance monitoring to ensure general response times meet customer expectations. Performs routine or customary operational and monitoring activities to ensure database environments are stable and capable of meeting on-going business needs. + Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to maintain application development standards, monitor standards for consistent usage and help other move towards standards. + Develops tools as appropriate to support application initiatives using knowledge of content management tools and concepts. + Researches new technologies, recommends upgrades, enhancements, etc. and assist with the implementation of new technologies. + May lead security audits for regulatory or legal compliance including HIPPAA internal policies, etc. + Responds to system emergencies, downtimes and facilitates additional support capabilities with HID as appropriate. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education + Bachelor's Degree Required: Computer Science. Or related, relevant field. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree Experience + Minimum of 5 years Required: or more years of development experience, or demonstrated ability to work on the most complex projects facing PeaceHealth (with full grasp of all relevant development technologies) and + Required: Experience with complex projects with minimal supervision and + Required: Experience/knowledge to develop interactive database applications and + Required: Experience using Windows (and components such as IIS, etc.) Office, web editors, iSeries web environments, and other tools used for web-based and client/server applications and + Required: Experience with web and application server capabilities for various platforms such as Windows, AS/400, Tandem, etc and + Required: Experience with server-based database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle and associated programming languages such as RPG, Visual Basic, Java, JavaScript, ASP, NET, HTML, XML, etc and + Required: Experience and/or knowledge with server platforms (hardware and software) and configurations, including but not limited to services such as Microsoft’s Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft Index Server, IBM web frameworks, WebSphere, APACHE, Secure Sockets Layer, use of Outlook/Exchange within the framework of web pages/site(s), electronic commerce, etc and + Required: Experience/knowledge of relational and object-oriented databases and structures and + Preferred: Experience with data modeling, logical and physical database design Preferred experience: + Minimum of 3+ years of experience with the following Infor CloudSuite/Landmark applications: + GHR/Talent Management + FSM + XM + IDM + Experience developing Infor/Lawson solutions using the following Infor development tools: + Infor Process Automation (IPA) + Configuration Console/LPL programming + Async + ION + Experience with Infor Support Portal and managing cases Skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required) Department / Location Specific Notes App Developer SR – Epic Data Courier Administration & App Developer SR – Epic Environment & Release Administration: + Experience working in a Healthcare technical environment. + Familiarity with Epic EMR, specifically application admin, release management (RA’s SRG’s and other), and supporting technical projects. + Leads Epic Data Courier/Content Management (DC/CM) projects: archiving, IPGs, newly enabled items, DC interface specifications, etc. + Develops and supports Epic Data Courier express interfaces - ensures availability, Monitors and troubleshoots Epic Data Courier errors, and communicates operational status. + Reviews RAs and serves as gatekeeper for Epic deployment, installations, downtimes as needed. + Monitors completion of Nova release notes for deployment readiness, and escalates unresolved critical issues to Upgrade PM. + Reviews SLGs and signs RA’s. + Manages the migration and troubleshooting of application build across Epic environments + Runs audits and reports on Epic DC/CM usage statistics. + Collaborates with Tech Admin/Upgrade PM to improve process, implement meaningful changes based on lessons learned/feedback. + Epic certifications preferred (Data Courier Administration), but not required. Opportunity for Epic certifications will be available.
