Description We are offering a contract for an Applications Development Analyst role in Tallahassee, Florida. The selected individual will be a crucial member of the Application Services Office, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions and providing GIS support. Responsibilities • Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions for optimal resource utilization and seamless user experience. • Provide technical support for the Application Services Team to optimize existing processes, applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces, and hardware. • Collaborate with both internal and external customers to gather business requirements, develop deliverables, and perform data analysis for effective information sharing and technology adoption. • Assist with the GIS System of Engagement in the integration of systems. • Offer technical GIS support to the Central Office and Districts in the use of GIS web map services and ArcGIS Enterprise. • Provide technical support related to ArcGIS Online, ArcMap, ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Portal, and Server extensions and add-ons. • Support the design and implementation of ArcGIS, ESRI WebApps, and projects. • Assist in the installation, development, and management of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise Environments and ESRI desktop software. • Perform other technical assignments needed to support Application Services. Requirements • Proficiency in Documentation, with the ability to create and maintain clear, concise records. • Experience in providing Technical Support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. • Expertise in Database Design and Implementation, with a focus on optimization and efficiency. • Proficient in JavaScript, with the ability to develop and implement complex applications. • Strong skills in Data Analysis, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and REST API, with the ability to leverage these in application development. • Ability to manage Deliverables, ensuring timely and quality completion of projects. • Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field. • Experience with Deployments, particularly in a desktop hardware environment. • Ability to translate Business Requirement Documents into actionable development plans. • Proficient in managing Computer Hardware, particularly in a server environment. • Experience with SQL Server, with the ability to manage and optimize databases. • Knowledge of Transportation Services and EXPRESS, with the ability to integrate these into application development. • Proficient in React and API Development, with the ability to develop robust applications. • Knowledge of .NET Framework and its application in software development. • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with External Customers. • Proficiency in Node.js, with the ability to leverage it in application development. • Familiarity with Maps API, with the ability to integrate it into application development.
