Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically and commercially experienced Application Engineer. In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for Compressor Seal Products.

This role is responsible for providing techno-commercial quotes for Dry Gas seals by coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in tandem with regional Com Ops team, Sales & Engineering team.

You will act as a product specialist - Compressor Seal Specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, engineering, product development, and other specialist departments in the company.


Responsibilities & Requirements:

To review project specifications, pump data sheets, vendor documents, Inspection and testing requirements etc. and timely submission of techno-commercial offer for turbo machinery seals at market level pricing in response to RFQ'sParticipate in technical bid evaluation (TBE) meetings with EPC/OEM’s and provide appropriate technical and commercial solutionsLiaison with Regional Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain as needed to ensure technical compliance of quotesReviewing purchase order and ensure compliance and transfer project files to order fulfilment, organize order calls with respective stakeholdersEvaluation of requests, generation of solution proposalsCost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departmentsTechnical and commercial preparation of offersOrder acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)Good knowledge on commercial terms, delivery, warranty terms And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as inside Sales Representative Engineer.Good communication skillsStrong technician acumen and analytical thinking.Good knowledge of mechanical seals / auxiliary products / compressors / sealing systems / gas seals / panels are added advantagesSAP knowledge in dealing with common MS Office applications is added advantageKnowledge of compressor market & solutionsPossess 4 - 5 years related working experiencesDiploma / Degree preferably in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation engineering (or relevant).
