Job Overview:
Acts under direction from the Applications Project Leader and performs technical systems analysis and programming in one or more specialized phases of applications. Prepares specifications from which programs will be written and is responsible for understanding customer needs and processes. Under supervision, responsible for program design, coding testing, debugging and documentation following departmental standards. Involved in a multi-disciplinary team approach for selection and implementation of new or upgraded systems. Has basic knowledge of all phases of application programming including understanding of operating systems and utilities to perform responsibilities. Under supervision, will participate in application development, modifications of existing and new systems, customer support, consulting and providing information as appropriate to departments, management and the organization.
Job Requirements:
Epic Certification: Cadence, Prelude, Authorization/Referrals required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems
Other relevant fields of study
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Flexible/adaptable learning and understanding new technologies
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Up to 1 year experience
Job Responsibilities:
With supervision, supports departmental and organizational processes including customer support and problem resolution in a timely manner to ensure maximum system availability. Provides appropriate escalation of critical issues as necessary.
With supervision, performs high quality definition, analysis, design, programming functions and documentation for assigned projects and requests.
Performs, with supervision, assigned projects in accordance with I.S. departmental/support standard procedures.
Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in seeking and/or accepting additional assignments.
Attends technical/professional training courses -seminar or self-study- for career development and job responsibility performance.
