Job Description The Applications Engineer is a cross-functional technical position that requires a versatile individual with a broad skill set, including education in microbiology and direct experience within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manager of Applications Engineering, but interacts with all departments within the company, as well as BioVigilants customers and regulatory agencies. The Applications Engineer is involved at multiple levels of IMD development, testing, and customer evaluation, installation, training and validation of IMD products. BioVigilant is the inventor of instantaneous microbial detection IMD, a revolutionary technology that allows customers to monitor microbial contamination in real time. This technology is currently being tested and implemented by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
