We’re looking for a highly motivated and innovative Emulation Product Engineer to join the team.
In this role, you will be part of a highly experienced emulation product engineering team and will work closely with R&D architects and customers on hardware assisted verification products. You will drive all aspects of technology life cycle: technology development, product sign-off, customer deployment, expert consultant for hard problems. You will become an expert in emulation and prototyping methodologies and flows including design, partitioning, testing, synthesis, simulation-based verification, functional verification, implementation, PAR and FPGA architecture. Leveraging your close interaction with customers, R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams, you will be able to demonstrate the differentiated emulation/verification environment to drive product proliferation.
You will be involved in defining test strategies and methodologies to continuously improve ease-of use, quality of results and inter-operability with other Synopsys Tools in pre-Si space. By adapting to the recognized best practices and policies in Synopsys, you will also become an expert in various processes involved Product Release Cycle starting from Requirement Specification to Product sign-off. You will operate with fair amount of autonomy and will be responsible for determining and developing recommendations to solutions. You will work with latest designs from varied verticals such as HPC, AI, storage, networking, automotive, hyperscalars etc to enable and support key ZeBu products in early-stage development.
Key Qualifications:Typically requires a minimum of BSEE/MS and 12+ years of related experienceExperience in project execution from start to completion contributing to complex aspects of the projectExpertise in Emulation and/or Prototyping flows, systems, and methodologiesStrong proficiency in one or more of Verilog, SystemVerilog & VHDL is requiredVery good understanding of verification concepts, self-checking test benches with experience in any functional simulator is requiredExperience in any of the scripting language is requiredGood knowledge in Simulation flows, Assertion, DPI and TransactorsComplex Problem solving and debugging skills are essentialStrong communication skills and ability to interact with customers as well as peers is requiredGood understanding of synthesis and timing analysis concepts will be a plusKnowledge about formal verification will be a plusKnowledge in Synopsys Solutions and Tools like Zebu, HAPS, VCS, Verdi, Zebu, ProtoCompiler, Synplify, VCS, DC, Formality will be a plusKnowledge and previous experience with Xilinx & Altera architecture and Tool chains will be a plusUnderstanding of SW/HW debug methodologies with prior experience in any of standard SW/HW debug tools (Identify, ChipScope, SignalTap, Logic Analyzer etc.) will be a plusAt Synopsys, we’re at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play. The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $158,000-$238,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
