With a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Sciences, you bring profound expertise in advanced semiconductor devices and process technology. Your experience with TCAD simulation tools and advanced understanding of electrostatics and carrier transport in semiconductors makes you a valuable asset. You have hands-on experience with Linux and scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or Perl. Your excellent presentation and communication skills enable you to interact effectively at various levels within customer organizations. You thrive in collaborative environments, always ready to help others succeed.What You’ll Be Doing:Serving as the primary technical interface with customers for our TCAD products.Assisting customers in evaluating, using, and applying TCAD tools to their specific needs.Providing consulting services to customers and enhance the value of TCAD for technology development in advanced logic, memory, or specialty semiconductors.Collaborating with R&D, sales, marketing, and customers to drive product development and acceptance.Providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical support for TCAD products.Managing customer projects, including definition, execution, and follow-up.Conducting customer training sessions and offering internal guidance for product enhancements.The Impact You Will Have:Enhancing customer satisfaction by providing expert technical support, solutions, and consulting services.Driving the successful adoption of our TCAD products in various customer projects.Contributing to product development through valuable feedback and collaborative efforts with R&D teams.Improving the overall quality and functionality of our TCAD tools based on customer insights.Elevating Synopsys' market position as a leader in semiconductor technology and simulation tools.Fostering strong relationships with customers, leading to increased trust and long-term partnerships.What You’ll Need:PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Sciences, or a related field.In-depth knowledge and experience in semiconductor devices and process technology.Hands-on experience with TCAD simulation or emulation tools.Advanced understanding of semiconductor device physics, including electrostatics, advanced and classical carrier transport.Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or Perl.Who You Are:An excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.A collaborative team player with a "help others succeed" mentality.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.Able to interact at both engineering and management levels within customer organizations.The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:The Customer Success Group (CSG) under Go-To-Market (GTM) organization provides field supports and services in market-leading solutions for EDA and TCAD.  Our team drives the successful adoption of our best-in-class technologies and platforms at our broad and growing set of customers and partners across diverse market segments.Rewards and Benefits:We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $134,000-$200,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
