The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
The primary focus of the Emulation Applications Engineer is to drive the development and adoption of Synopsys HW Products. This role will help customers deploy the Synopsys HW platforms, contributing significantly to the company's success.
You Are:
You thrive in dynamic environments and possess a strong understanding of emulation designs, bringup and debugging. Your knowledge of hardware platforms and scripting skills (TCL/Perl/Python) are exceptional, and FPGA experience is a plus. You excel in building partnerships with customers and can work autonomously.
What You’ll Be Doing:Reviewing requirements, developing emulation environments, running a multitude of EDA tools, and developing scripts for automation.Owning and addressing customer challenges.Collaborating with Research and Development, global Application Engineering teams, and customers to shape next-generation platforms, tool features, capabilities, and applications in Synopsys' verification technologies.Performing root-cause investigation, optimizing the design, emulation testbenches for improved tool performance.Creating technical collaterals/in-depth trainings and working with customers/field team members during the evaluation, deployment, and migration to Synopsys Emulators.Providing key input to product planning and development of newer generations of Synopsys Emulator.The Impact You Will Have:Driving the development and adoption of Synopsys HW Products.Shaping next-generation verification technologies through collaboration and innovation.Enhancing the performance of Synopsys emulation environments.Contributing to the creation of technical resources that support customer success.Influencing the development of new features and capabilities in Synopsys Emulators.What You’ll Need:2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role or related field.Proficiency in emulation designs and debugging skills.Experience with emulation waveform dump/debug/reconstruction.Strong knowledge of hardware platforms.Excellent scripting skills (TCL/Perl/Python).FPGA experience is desirable.Who You Are:Excellent oral and written communicator.Capable of working autonomously and under time pressure.We Are:

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $110,000-$164,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
