The successful Applications Engineering Manager, Malaysia Semiconductor is a recognized Semiconductor industry leader. Your role is to coordinate a team of Application Engineers from Malaysia and Southeast Asia, using your technical and business skills to ensure customer technical success. Your team will be a trusted technical partner who demonstrate the capabilities of NI’s semiconductor platform to solve ambitious challenges in the hottest new semiconductor applications, including: mmWave, RF FEM, mixed Signal, Power electronics and Optoelectronics.

We need a strong leader with industry domain expertise to better serve our customers and grow key areas of the business. The Applications Engineering Manager, will report to the APAC Applications Engineering Director

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), or equivalent experience in the field. 10+ years of relevant Semiconductor proven experience in the areas of: RFIC or mixed-signal IC in lab validation and production testing RF FEM, On-Wafer test, IPD, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensor Software and system development, including test program development Knowledge in wireless protocol: GSM, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, NB-IoT, LoRa, ZigBee, …etc. Major semiconductor ATE tester platform (V93000, Ultra, J750, Pax, etc) 3+ years management experience Strong track record of building and leading high performing teams Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in English and at least one other key regional language. Willing and able to travel up to 25%, primarily within APAC Japan and occasionally the USA
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Knowledge of NI PXI platform or NI LabVIEW/TestStand experience
