What You’ll Do:

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software developers, product and Customer Success teams to align operational strategies with development initiatives. Support deployment of new releases and ensure seamless integration into ongoing operations. Automation and Tooling: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline operational processes. Enhance system monitoring and alerts using modern observability platforms. Collaborate and Share Expertise: Engage proactively in pull requests and spike documents, actively sharing insights and expertise to foster a collaborative team environment and drive continuous improvement. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation regarding system configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices. Manage Apple App Store and Google Play updates: track and adjust the dynamic and adapting policies of Apple and Google Play Stores. Drive overall process consistency, compliance and improvements. Learn and Grow: Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software development. Actively participate in team learning sessions, workshops, and training opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Who You Are:

3+ years of experience in application operations, system administration, or a similar operational role within a tech-driven and agile environment. Experience in monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI). 2+ years of experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails. Ability to script or code with languages such as Bash, Python, Javascript. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to manage and resolve technical issues quickly. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to effectively coordinate across teams in a remote, geographically distributed agile environment.

Bonus Points:

Experience with specific technologies used at Thanx, besides the already mentioned Ruby and Ruby on Rails, we also have others described in the “Some technologies we use” topic below. Certifications related to cloud platforms or IT service management. Previous experience in a high-growth tech startup or in a role supporting scalable enterprise applications. You have worked with geographically distributed teams. B.Sc or higher in Computer Science or other related Technology courses.
