We are looking for an Application Solution\r\nArchitect to join our team within our Aerospace Defence and Security Sector. In\r\nthis role, you will define the solutions for new service capabilities, provide\r\noversight of our existing applications, and shape our data architecture. You’ll\r\nbe responsible for both current technology components and for aligning service,\r\nprocess, organization, and operating models with our overall strategy.
You will be based 5 days a week in our\r\nnewly refurbished Office in Farnborough, Hampshire.

What you'll be doing:
Technical\r\n Leadership. Drive the collaborative effort to define and deliver the\r\n solution architecture that satisfies all key stakeholders and meets\r\n business requirements.Design\r\n expert. Use your expert technical skills and experience to produce\r\n durable, flexible and extensible architectural designs.Domain\r\n expert. With your deep understanding of the technology domains that are\r\n relevant to the solution. These may cover standards, features and products\r\n that could be exploited.Risk\r\n manager. Assess and quantify the risks associated with the design\r\n decisions. These risks must be communicated to relevant parties.What you’ll bring:
Application\r\n standards, models and industry trends.Zero-Trust\r\n Architecture standards as it pertains to applications and flows.Modern\r\n Application and Software Development practices (DevSecOps).Windows\r\n & Linux operation systems and appropriate middleware.Security\r\n & Cyber awareness, e.g., SEF, Controls, CSD products.It would be great if you had:
Data\r\n Centric Security models, labelling and their architectures.Cross\r\n Domain Solutions.Application\r\n Labelling standards.Application\r\n interfaces, e.g., RESTful, API etc.Quality\r\n software development practices, standards and tooling.Application-level\r\n Automation Technologies, e.g., Ansible, Jenkins etc.Application\r\n & Software supply chain management experience.Zero\r\n Trust Architecture.Active SC\r\n or DV Clearance.If you are interested in this role but not\r\nsure if your skills and experience are exactly what we’re looking for, please\r\ndo apply, we’d love to hear from you!
