For our Display Graphics Customer Experience Centre in Bergamo, Italy, we are looking for two Applications Specialists to manage the demonstrations of our VUTEk digital printing machines and showing to customers the peak performance of our machines. By collecting all the details to create a successful demonstration, understanding the needs of the customer and set the best strategy, you will contribute in turning a demonstration into a signed deal.

 Serve as product knowledge expert to support Applications department with production and fulfilment of print sample requests, from preflight to final shipping. Work with sales team (both direct and channel partners) to demonstrate equipment overview, print modes and workflow solutions. Support required tradeshow activities, including configuration, demonstration, special applications and break down. 

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:  ​

 Fulfils Inkjet sample requests in accordance with job ticket instructionAccommodates all demonstrations; resolves customer inquiries and special requestEscalates all equipment-related issues (defects, mechanical problems, etc) through proper channels and tracks resolution statusServe as site ambassador to all internal/external stakeholdersPerforms daily housekeeping duties as set forth by department standards

Job Requirements: 

​BA/BS in Design/Graphic Arts or Professional background in a similar area. Experience with traditional pre-flighting processes and softwareProficiency in PC and MAC environmentFluent in English and any other European language would be a plus: German or FrenchDetail oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, managing multiple projectsStrong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently analyse alternative solutions and prioritize quickly within tight deadlinesStrong initiative and customer service focusAbility and willingness to travel, both domestic and international for tradeshow or exhibitions.Education and Experience RequirementsProfessional background or at least Bachelor’s degree in graphic artsIn-depth knowledge of common DTP applications, Adobe Suite and Mac OS.Printing industry experience (analogue and/or digital) is a must.Windows XP, NT and networking experience are required.Familiar with colour management techniquesAbility to interface with people/sales is important.Demonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfactionExperience in delivering training is an asset.Good communication skills, team-playerFluent in English. Any other European language would be a plus.Flexible for traveling within EMEA occasionally for tradeshows. Share
