Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $136,500.00 - $179,200 Applications Support Engineer per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Analyze methodologies and solutions to meet customer/user requirements by making use of EDA Tessent Technologies. Assist customers with the verification of their Tessent patterns and RTL. Create example testcases to help reproduce issues for customers with sensitive data concerns. Capture and explain tool bugs for product development engineering. Provide input to Tessent product engineering on new product features/enhancements to solve customer future Design-for-Test challenges. Provide input creation and improvement of Tessent documentation, and training materials. Help customer with the creation of TCL Scripts to assist with special design flow automation needs.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an Applications Support Engineer-related occupation.

Requirements: Position requires 36 months of experience in the following:

1. Design-for-Test (DFT) implementation.

2. Developing and deploying hierarchical design-for-test implementation flows, including scan insertion, automatic test pattern generation and verification, and Built-in-Self-Test Memory test implementation and verification.

3. Creating DFT flow test cases to assist with mimicking customer design environment or functionality.

4. Debugging software bugs.

5. Writing, interpreting, and debugging system Verilog.

6. Writing and debugging TCL scripts.

7. Debugging real silicon issues.
