Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Provide technical and business support for users of Citi applications. Utilize good understanding of application support procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions, and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation. Develop a comprehensive understanding of how areas of applications support collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals. Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups, and vendors. Participate in disaster recovery testing. Participate in application releases from development, testing and deployment into production. Develop and maintain technical support documentation. Consider implications of the application of technology to the current environment. Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues. Make evaluative judgment based on analysis of information and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions. Cooperate with development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Participation in application requirement reviews and design sessions to ensure applications are stable, maintainable, scalable, and expandable; Troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying and providing technical solutions utilizing UNIX, Linux, Java, J2EE, Windows, IBM WebSphere Message Queue, TIBCO, Oracle, SQL queries, Shell Scripting or Cloud-based platforms; Planning and managing the entire Cycle of Disaster Management and Recovery of an Application; Preparing complex reports for business users utilizing skills in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and SQL Developer; and Scheduling and troubleshooting Batch jobs using Autosys tool. 40 hrs./wk.
