This role provides technical expertise and change management consulting to our customers project teams during significant software upgrade journeys. This position requires a strong foundational understanding of customer engagement, their business processes, process mapping and reporting to drive successful delivery of customer upgrades. This individual will work alongside a project manager in ensuring that all technical requirements for the transition are paired with an actionable solution.
Responsibilities:
Provides pre-sales technical support by working with the customer from prior to the sale and providing expertise on product functions and capabilities as well as involvement in the product
installation process. Prepares product specifications for implementation of customer solutions. – Develops and applies methods, theories and research to provide solutions to technical problems.Supports the pre-sale and installation of company products and ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to satisfy customer needs. Consult prospective users on product capability and provides product demonstrations.Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments.May offer guidance to non-exempt personnel. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on
routine matters. Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation of
company products.May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification8+ years of experience applicable work experience
