Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking an Applications Trading Support (NYC) to join their team. As an Applications Trading Support, you will be part of the Rates team supporting critical trading operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Applications Trading Support (NYC)
**Location:** New York, NY
**Pay Range:** $63.20 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Serve as the first point of contact for end business users in Rates.
+ Own and deliver onboarding support processes into the MAPS organization.
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders and application development personnel.
+ Monitor and alert on critical trading system environments.
+ Troubleshoot complex systems issues and proactively identify problem hotspots.
**What's Needed?**
+ Hands-on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks.
+ Business knowledge of fixed income products and understanding of market data flows.
+ Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos.
+ Proficiency in Unix, SQL, and Python.
+ Familiarity with ITIL and grid computing concepts.
